What that means in practice

Links to retailers on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale. The price you pay is identical either way — affiliate links never add a surcharge.

How links are marked

Every outbound affiliate link carries rel="sponsored nofollow" and routes through a /go/ redirect on this domain. You can verify this by hovering any buy button or viewing the page source.

What it doesn't change

Commission rates vary between products and categories, and they are not a factor in what we recommend or in what order. Where a cheaper product is the better buy, we say so — even though it pays us less. Our full method is here, including the parts that don't flatter us.
